Within the atrium of Liverpool Hope Universitys newest building, Stephen Broadbent has installed a dynamic 4m diameter suspended sculpture.
The design is simple in its concept, inspired by the movement of seeds. This reflects the movement of people in the building.
The sculpture is also representative of the students arriving and leaving Hope University, which can be seen as a place that offers good ground for growth, or as a place that sends good seed out into the wider world.
The Greek transcript expresses the principals of Faith, Hope and Love, highlighted as the founding principles of Hope University.
Manufactured from weathering steel and glass, the sculpture reinforces the traditional material palette used within the campus buildings.
