FlowBlockR modular water storage cells have a high void ratio. They are designed to create non-blocking, free-flowing attenuation and soakaway systems for use in pedestrian and light traffic areas.
The cells are manufactured from 100% recycled material and have a strong, robust construction, with a high compressive strength. They can retain surface water runoff below ground and release it at a predetermined rate, or facilitate the infiltration of surface water into the ground.
FlowBlock R systems can be easily assembled on site by stacking and linking the cells together, using the shear connectors provided. The interconnecting structure gives the system greater stability.
Large modular tanks can be created and easily configured to suit different sites. The finished assembly is wrapped in either a geotextile or a geomembrane depending on the application, and connected to the drainage system.
