Bardon Drainasphalt is a permeable asphalt that allows water to pass freely through to the underlying structure. It is used in commercial schemes, new housing developments, retail parks and car parks.
Developed for use as an asphalt porous surface and binder course component in a SUDS pavement, Drainasphalt can be combined with other sustainable drainage products.
The porous material allows surface water to drain through, resulting in reduced surface water spray and headlight glare in wet weather. The inverted texture also provides a high level of acoustic absorption.
