Bardon Safepave is a BBA/HAPAS approved thin surfacing asphalt material
Bardon Safepave can be laid 20mm thick, incorporating polymer modified binder technology. The material is installed by pavers that incorporate an integral spray bar for applying a polymer modified bond-coat immediately
before the asphalt layer.
When installing Bardon Safepave, substrate cracks are sealed by effective bond coat application, and there is no need for the bond coat to be trafficked. Safepave can be overlaid on the existing surface, and regulate rutted or deteriorated surfaces. It is approximately three times quicker to install, and can be trafficked more quickly than conventional thin bound surfacings.
It also reduces surface spray and noise, and has good friction qualities.
