Bardon Stratagem is a BBA / HAPAS approved asphalt thin surface course material available in two sizes 10mm and 6mm. Designed to fulfil the requirements and deliver the performance of a modern thin surfacing used in high and low speed heavily trafficked roads.

10mm surfaces are laid at nominal thicknesses between 20 and 50mm, (typically 30 - 35mm) covering the Classification Type B and C as defined in Table 1 of the Guidelines Document for the Assessment and Certification of Thin Surfacing Systems for Highways.

6mm surfaces are laid at nominal thicknesses between 15 and 25mm, covering the Classification Type A and B as defined in Table 1 of the Guidelines Document for the Assessment and Certification of Thin Surfacing Systems for Highways.

• Major highways, high speed roads, high traffic roads roundabouts (10mm)
• Urban and rural low speed (40mph and below) roads (6mm)
