Bardon Urbanpave is a range of surface course materials developed to withstand the demands and stresses of urban and rural traffic.

Bardon Urbanpave mixtures are highly engineered asphalt surfacing mixtures available in 6, 10 and 14mm nominal sizes that incorporate elastomeric polymer-modified binders. They have good adhesion and cohesion when compared with traditional mixtures produced with standard paving-grade bitumens.

The system provides an aesthetically pleasing, even, uniform surface with a low in situ void structure. This enhances the life of the surface compared with other thin surfacing systems. The system also has excellent characteristics at low temperatures, slowing crack propagation.

Good levels of texture depth are retained, giving low noise, which is important in urban settings. Bardon Urbanpave also gives low levels of surface water spray.
