Cantilever gantries appear on the side of motorways to notify drivers of potential problems ahead including accidents and adverse weather conditions. They incorporate illuminated variable message signage (VMS) or fixed signage in applications where a full roadway gantry is not suitable.
Nusteel Structures designs, fabricates and treats the steelwork to support the electronic signage for MS3 and MS4 structures. The signage is provided already tested by the main contractor and is delivered to the Nusteel workshops where an experienced installation teams fits them to the prepared steelwork. Once the signs are fitted they are then delivered to site and installed by Nusteel.
MS3 structures are available to support either 2x16 or 3x18m signage. Nusteel has manufactured and erected around 500 of them since 2000.
Nusteel were heavily involved in the development of the newer MS4 Bendy Pole design that has seen demand rapidly eclipsing the older MS3.
As with all of structures Nusteel can work to a specific client specification to create bespoke designs.
