Timber Trend half-log effect vinyl cladding was specified by White Young Green Consulting Engineers and John Sisk for the Limerick Toll Plaza and the Limerick Motorway Tunnel Project administration buildings.
Timber Trend was chosen for its longevity and maintenance-free attributes as well as for its aesthetic appearance. Additionally, it is tough, lead free, self-extinguishing and will not rot, crack or split.
A cedar finish was selected to contrast with white sections of the buildings. A range of complementary trims helped to ensure an exact fit.
Energy efficient and environmentally friendly, Timber Trend vinyl cladding has an insulated backing and is recyclable.
A moisture release system enables it to be fitted in any weather, reducing downtime.
Two other ranges of vinyl cladding are also available, Royalcrest and Durapanel. All vinyl cladding ranges carry a guarantee of up to 50 years.
