The FlexDisc™ fine bubble membrane aerator is suitable for both new and retrofit installations. It features an environmentall resistant and durable polypropylene base with a heavy-duty EDPM compound membrane with 100% rebound memory and a lifespan of 5 to 10 years.

The FlexDisc™ fine bubble membrane aerator cuts utility costs, allow greater process flows and improved effluent quality in comparison with a coarse bubble system. It has unique 'I' slits in the membrane that open when airflow is present and close when airflow is stopped to prevent plugging.

When compared with ceramic diffusers, the FlexDisc™ system offers dramatically decreased maintenance and downtime because of its smooth outer surface, uniform bubble distribution and continuously flexing rubber membrane, which eliminates the build up of biogrowths that can reduce oxygen transfer efficiency and cause plugging.
