It isn’t everyday you get to stand at a location and get a sense of history in the making. A visit to the impressive Olympic Park construction site at Stratford is one of those locations that will get the hairs on the back of the neck tingling.
This vast construction area in East London is being transformed to host the worlds leading athletes and ready to be televised to billions of people worldwide - this is history literally in the making.
Flanked by the iconic Canary Wharf Towers in the distance, and surrounded by additional construction sites of the Westfield Shopping Centre and Stratford International Train Station, Strata Tiles have every reason to feel very much apart of this iconic moment in our nations history, succeeding as we have to be supplying materials to some of these Olympic venues for 2012.
A site visit with Jonathan Wiles and informative tour of the Athlete Village by Ardmore, was an amazing opportunity to see Strata products installed; to hear of the issues experienced getting them onsite and seeing first hand fixers working with them, as well as hearing positive feedback from the guys on the ground made it a great experience
The project includes tiling of Reception Areas with a stunning Travertine Wall, set against a dark Technical Basalt floor tile.
