Visul Systems has developed a co-extruded tactile surface system which enables transport authorities and service providers to comply fully with the Disability Discrimination Act.
Visul’s warning surfaces are made from a hard wearing stone and resin composite. The unique compound of the tile provides both rigidity and flexibility to cope with undulations in existing surfaces prior to fixing:
- No heavy duty plant required
- No excavation required
- Hard wearing blisters, more durable than concrete
- Crossings can be completed in less than 2 hours, keeping pedestrian and traffic management to a minimum
- No cracking
- Specially formulated adhesive, tiles can be applied in damp’ conditions
