Diamond DMC packaged sewage treatment plants are designed for properties that are not connected to mains drainage. They have a simple design with no internal moving parts, which provides reliable operation and minimal running costs and maintenance.

The use continuous bacterial digestion to treat the wastewater to a standard which meets normal Environment Agency consents and complies with UK Building Regulations. Tanks are available in a range of sizes from 21 to 55pe.

The process can achieve a desludge (emptying) period of up to 3 years and it does not require primary settlement, which means no unpleasant odours are created.

The compact plant design minimises labour, materials and excavation requirements, allowing them to be installed quickly and easily. They have a small lid and are fitted flush to the ground to provide a low visual impact.

Each system is CE Marked in accordance with EN 12566^-3 and meets all current legislation under the Environmental Permitting Programme.

  The WPL Diamond EH5 wastewater treatment plant is now available in France and fully approved (number 2012-039) by the Ministère de l’Écologie, du Développement Durable et de l’Énergie. In France, if a property is not connected to mains drainage (where there is no ‘Assainissement Collectif’ or ‘Municipal Wastewater Treatment Works’) the owner has to have a private wastewater treatment plant or septic tank with soak away.
