Our expertise stems from a lifetime of work with natural decorative polished and honed stone products. Materials include granite, marble, limestone, slate and sandstone, with a team of skilled craftsmen that take pride in their work.

We undertake all manner of works and have extensive capabilities in producing and installing granite kitchen worktops. Our full fit service is particularly sought after. We have also completed numerous prestigious shop front fits and other contract works. Our flexibility is one of our strengths.

History
Marble Arts was formed in 1989 by Trevor Mellish. Trevor served his apprenticeship in London with Marble Products in Holmsdale Road, in Bromley with John Barber. He moved to Newcastle and eventually formed Marble Arts and built up a team of skilled craftsmen calling on the local talent available.

In February 2002 Trevor partnered with Tim May. Soon afterwards the business was relocated to larger premises near Durham. The Renny's Lane factory has offices and a showroom for visiting clients and a spacious stock yard to view materials. Recently the company has invested in the latest technology including digitisation table, Breton CNC, Commeduli Edge profiler, all extending the company's capabilites.
