Interior wall and ceiling lining can take many forms, but its function in domestic, public and commercial environments is mainly decorative.

Innovative, lightweight panels and slips have been designed to give the impression of a substantial brick or stone feature wall, with realistic colours and textures.

Composite materials including polymers, acrylics, plastics and minerals are also blended in various ways to create waterproof, hygienic surfaces. These can be used to good effect in bathrooms, changing rooms and kitchens.

Other panels use aluminium, stainless steel, copper and other metals to provide a minimalist or industrial aesthetic.

Natural stone cladding is also available, in thinner panels than those found on external walls, and in larger formats than natural stone tiles.

Gypsum can also be manipulated to form cladding boards in eye-catching shapes and patterns, whilst timber and leather create a warm, natural feel.
