Membrane and lining contractors specialise in the design, fabrication and installation of liners and membranes for specific construction, industrial or environmental applications.

For construction projects, specialised membranes are fitted under floor slabs for methane and radon gas protection, or used as waterproofing liners for basements and roofs.

In manufacturing and processing applications, membranes are installed to line bunds and tanks. These can be specified to meet criteria that makes them safe for use with potable water, food ingredients or harsh chemicals.

For environmental management, membranes are used for lining ponds, lakes, rivers and canals. They can also be installed as floating roofs or baffle curtains in reservoirs and water or sewage treatment works, or as landfill site capping.
