Road blockers provide a high level of security and protection, enabling access control and traffic management at the entrances to sensitive or vulnerable sites. They are especially suitable for military, government, infrastructure, distribution and airport locations.

For counter terrorism and other high-security requirements, road blockers and rising kerb barriers are crash-tested and made to PAS 68:2010 specifications for vehicle security barriers. This guarantees performance of barriers and their foundations when subjected to vehicular impact.

They are specifically designed to defend against the threat of a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED) or car bomb.

When lowered, road blockers sit flush with the road surface. They activate automatically and are raised quickly to protect against forced or unauthorised entry.

They can also be fitted alongside security entrance gates, security posts / bollards or rising arm barriers in comprehensive access control installations.
