Typical applications include overspill car parks, public footpaths, emergency access routes, and sports fields.

Whether it is based on structural plastic grids or engineered, load-bearing sub-bases of sand / soil, aggregate or rubber composition, rootzone reinforcement is about supporting grassed surfaces. It helps to ensure good grass growth, as a result of root anchoring, free-drainage and irrigation. It also prevents compaction and encourages the release and uptake of nutrients in the soil.
