Occasional tables
Occasional tables are available in a wide range of shapes, styles and sizes for use in residential, hospitality, leisure and office environments.
Coffee, side and console tables are common types.
Frames are typically made from wood, with aluminium and steel also being options. More unusual materials include stone, brass or glass.
Hard-wearing veneers and laminates are used for table tops in cost-conscious contract environments. Solid wood tops tend to be more expensive, but provide a distinct 'feel'.
Solid wood and strengthened glass are the standard materials for table tops in private houses.
Other types of table include boardroom tables and meeting tables for offices.
For hospitality environments, cafe and restaurant tables or poseur tables are available, while table tops and table bases can be specified separately.
