  • The British Contract Furnishing Association (BCFA) was established in July 1970 at the Décor International exhibition in London. Collaborative marketing among members in the UK was quickly followed by representation at overseas exhibitions with the BCFA appointed by the government to provide guidance and access to funding.

  • BFM represents the interests of the furniture industry in the UK. It also acts as an employers organisation and i is a consortia member of Furniture, Furnishings & Interior Training Organisation (FFINTO).

  • OFAS offers detailed and impartial information on all aspects of office and contract furniture, and is funded by the members it serves.

  • SBID is the industry bearer for professional interior design. By adopting and enforcing the measured standard of education and criteria laid down by the European Council for Interior Architects, the Society has raised the bar within Britain.
