Headwalls - from top UK suppliers

Headwalls

A headwall is a small retaining wall placed at the outlet of a stormwater pipe or culvert. Headwalls are usually made of concrete or masonry and serve as protection against the scouring or undermining of fill, or as a flow-diverting device.

Headwalls

They offer a cost effective alternative to in-situ structures for connecting pipework discharging into open watercourses such as rivers, ditches, ponds and swales.
