Porous cellular paving is designed for natural grass reinforcement, ground stabilisation and gravel retention. The open cell structure allows high surface water infiltration which makes them suitable for source control within a SuDS scheme.
Porous cellular paving allows stormwater to percolate and infiltrate the soil below. As well as providing a load bearing grassed or gravel surface, they help control stormwater at the source, reduce runoff and improve water quality by filtering pollutants in the substrate layers.
